The beautiful East Northamptonshire village of Hargrave, once again, hosted the Hargrave Music Festival over four fabulous days in September. On the Sunday, amateur singers were given the chance, once again, to star at the Festival (with an inclusive performance of Mozart’s Requiem), under the inspiring baton of Patrick Craig, who is one of the UK’s leading choral conductors (St Paul’s Cathedral/Tallis Scholars). After a day’s singing workshop on Mozart’s masterpiece, a performance followed with soloists Susan Gilmour Bailey (soprano), Alexandra Gibson (mezzo), David Horton (tenor) and Jonathan Gunthorpe (baritone). Our own co-founder Jan and her husband Perry also sang.
